Nataša Perić, MSc, BSc, PhD

Postdoctoral Researcher

Nataša PERIĆ joined the Department of Health Economics in August 2015. She is Co-PI of the VABABS study on breast cancer screening and works as a post-doc scientist on the European H2020 project ERA PerMedSchiz.

She obtained a doctoral degree at the MUV in the field of Public Health/Health Economics. Her doctoral thesis deals with the prioritization of indicators for structured monitoring of health system performance in the European Union. Her current research interests include health economic evaluation in the areas of cancer and mental health, and health system performance intelligence.

Nataša holds a master's degree in International Business Administration from the University of Vienna. She also spent an exchange semester at the University of Alcalá de Henares in Spain. For her Master thesis she conducted an experimental analysis to investigate the potential of a mass casualty incident management game.

Prior to this appointment, Nataša worked as a researcher at the NPO Competence Center at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU) where she conducted social return on investment studies in the areas of care of elderly and health promotion. In her previous function as a Clinical Trial Coordinator at Boehringer Ingelheim she obtained invaluable insights and experiences about clinical development and the pharmaceutical industry.
