Profil Tala El Ghoul

Tala El Ghoul is currently enrolled at the Doctoral Program of Applied Medical Science at the Medical University of Vienna. She holds a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS) from Saint Joseph University and a Master’s degree in Public Health, Epidemiology and Biostatistics from the American University of Beirut. During her Master’s, Tala El Ghoul worked at the department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics of the American University of Beirut on various research projects regarding the relationship between anti-depressants and metabolic syndrome (MetS). Her latest research project involved the identification of novel biomarkers for MetS prediction using metabolomics data. She is now working on the project CLOCK risk, ERC Advanced proposal 2021.
