Claudia Zimmermann
Claudia Zimmermann holds one Master’s degree in Sociology from the University of Graz and one in Evidence-Based Social Intervention from the University of Oxford. She is currently enrolled in the Doctoral Program of Applied Medical Science at the Medical University of Vienna.
She has a multidisciplinary background with experience in intervention research, quantitative and qualitative research methods and data analysis. She has gained work experience in teaching and research at the University of California in Berkeley and at various departments of the University of Graz, including the Department of Sociology and the Center for Digital Teaching and Learning. She has also worked with various English charities in the areas of refugee assistance, HIV prevention and paraplegia.
In March 2018, she joined the Department of Epidemiology as a Research Assistant. Her current research interests concern various areas of mental health as well as suicide prevention.
