Young people in Eastern Europe are subjected to multiple risks to their health and wellbeing considering factors such as inequality, poverty, and violence. Good and supportive adolescent-caregiver relationship are associated with health gains and healthier behavior in future, as well as lower risks for chronic, non-communicable diseases. The aim of this project is to adapt, implement, and evaluate the Parenting for Lifelong Health Teens (PLH) Teens programme in North Macedonia and Moldova, while including refugee populations from Ukraine. The programme consists of evidence-based approaches for adolescents and their caregivers to build skills and strengthen adolescent-caregiver relationship, thereby preventing and reducing mental health problems. The DHE is responsible for the economic evaluation alongside the FLOURISH study.
