Center for Public Health Successful Participation of the Department of Epidemiology at the YSA PhD Symposium 2025
Tala El Ghoul and Jing Zhang, two PhD students from the Department of Epidemiology, successfully participated in this year’s YSA PhD Symposium, which took place on May 27 and 28, 2025, at the Lecture Hall Center of the AKH.
The event, organized by the Young Scientist Association, provides an important platform for early-career researchers at the Medical University of Vienna to present their work and engage in interdisciplinary networking. Both PhD candidates from the UN790 Epidemiology doctoral program at MedUni Vienna presented their research as part of poster sessions and received valuable feedback from the scientific community.
