The Department of Health Economics at the Center for Public Health, Medical University of Vienna has an ongoing programme of work to research the different health economic aspects of the ageing society in Austria including quality of life and costs in association with different demographic, socioeconomic, lifestyle, health services, and morbidity and mortality related factors.
